Drifters - Complete Gallery

Here are the final Drifters in all their lofty glory. It was a pleasure to focus on some of my favorite subjects, which are flying machines and cloudscapes. Also kept on Slynyrd brand with my typical skewed side view projection. While the elements stick to my familiar tool kit, it was still a good challenge for me to come up with unique variations that are all consistent in form and style. In a few cases, I took inspiration from nature, but for the most part I was purely playing with geometry and form. I used the same palette that I used for Amatia, which is the main palette I formulated for Beast Planet. However, I applied a warming filter on the Drifters to capture a softer aged aesthetic.

It's always satisfying to put together the final gallery and contemplate the work. Each work stands on it's own, but they complement and strengthen each other when presented together. Rewarding, but also a bit sad because it's over. On to the next project!
