Shape of the Universe - 1

I'm excited to share the first pixels of my new concept album project. This is the first scene, which depicts the cosmic setting our story takes place in, and the fundamental concept of interwoven opposing forces. I'm taking inspiration from astrophotography and letting my imagination run free with it. I feel I can unlock my greatest potential in this unfettered mode of solo work. Things are coming together swimmingly so far, and I'm loving the process. I have some epic scenes planned, and sure hope I can deliver a product true to my vision. Based on this piece, I'm feeling really good about the direction, as the art tends to improve as I go along with these series.

Shape of the Universe is the title of this piece, however, I haven't decided on a name for the overall album. I figure something good will come to me once the vision takes more shape, or I might settle on one of the individual track names. Here is the current overview of the main 10 tracks/scenes planned.

I think the static art for this one is about done, but I am still polishing up details. Next, I have to add some animation, while the music is already underway. I hope you will enjoy this behind the scenes development of the project, and it doesn't spoil too much from the enjoyment of the final product.
