A few changes have been made to the track order, and the producer is going with a different title track. This art is now going to be the main album image. Nature, isolation, and vastness - it's right up my alley, so I'm all for it.
The idea is pretty straight forward and it's a subject I'm comfortable with, so I jumped right into the pixels without any sketching.
The parallax doesn't loop in this sample gif. In order to make it loop in this short version the far background clouds would have to repeat 8 times on the same screen, because the motion is so slow. That would be quite ugly, so I made all background layers the width of the whole screen to not feel repetitive. Furthermore, I've set up the project so I can make the animation as long as needed without a clip. This involves syncing together multiple gifs into one movie. I must do this because Photoshop limits the amount of frames that can be in one gif. Of course, I could just animate it in After Effects, but we want the aesthetic of frame by frame pixel motion created at native resolution.
