Moving on in the intro sequence, I'm now creating a scene with some interior details of the Titan being powered up and throttled out of the launch bay.

This is a rough plan for the cells in this scene. A hand pushes some buttons, dials and gauges light up, a hand pushes the throttle forward, and you see the thrust from behind the titan flare up. I'm thinking to change the order so the large cell with the titan is on top. It will remain on screen as the other smaller interior frames appear below it, and the moment the hand pushes the throttle you'll see the thrust flare up.
Drawing hands is always a struggle for me. Usually I first try to wing it. That almost never works, so I then reference many hands and often end up taking photographs of my own hands to get the exact position I'm looking for. That's what I did in this case, but I still had to imagine it with the black glove. It worked out pretty well in the end but still took way too long for one hand. Just want to assure you that pretty much all artists struggle with hands.
Apart from the story, we've made good progress on the game lately. More than half of the levels have been rebalanced and the action just keeps getting tighter and tighter. I've been touching up some old assets and still creating new stuff as well. I just made 3 new turret concepts you'll be seeing in action soon!
