February 2018 Schedule

Hi guys! We're already one month into 2018. I have to say it's been a highly productive month and I'm feeling good vibes for this year. The response to my new content has been overwhelmingly positive and we've grown by a few patrons in just one month!

Looking at February, you can expect another month loaded with pixel goodness. I will finish the last piece in the Star Fighters series on the 5th. The following week I will release a collection of all the pilots in one composition. I will also make a gallery with all the pilots paired with their ships together. It will be extremely satisfying to see the complete synthesis of the project after 4 months of hard work.

On the 19th I will start a new Pixelminis series. Thanks for casting your votes for the series concept! We had a better turn out this time, but I was still left with a draw. In this case, I decided to go with the churches theme. It's always important for me to bring you authentic art, so I went for the subject with more personal connection. I plan on depicting churches in and around my town. I'll try to stick to those I've actually seen with my own eyes. Get hyped for lots of brick and limestone.

Based on the poll and suggestions I've received for the next Pixelblog, I'm leaning towards texture. The more I consider how the principals build off each other, I think the natural order should be, texture, light, perspective. After all of that I can do one on composition. But I'm always open to suggestions.

Juncajar will continue through the month. I have a basic plan in mind but the story often evolves as I go. I intend to wrap it up around 20, so expect it to conclude Late March/early April. I will most likely release a poll for the next series concepts sometime this month.
