Hello my dear fellows,

last week, some of you deleted their pledges here. Some others have joined us. That's the wheel of life.
The first ones won't read this message but I know that they left because 'I wasn't producing enough'.

That's something I understand but still I'm a bit surprised because I warned everyone, as much as I could, that this page was still young and would be fully operationnal in 2020. It's written in the short text that describes the tiers, and I've said it again in the past text posts I uploaded here.
Which confirms me that few people actually read what I, or other artists, write on their pages.
On DA, I often get messages or notes of people asking me questions about something whereas the answer is frequently written just under the pics I post.

Anyway, what I wish to say here is this:

As some of you may know, a few years ago, I had to go through a serious eyes desease. After years of working on screens and white paper, or above canvases, using such products as white spirit, my eyes got dry beneath the surface. I had to quit for some time and couldn't produce anything for long months, in order to cure myself.

Now I thought that these days were behind me, but the symptomes seem to come back...
Luckily, this time, I know what to do to prevent it from getting too serious. But it also means less screening...
And if you add the common cold I catch every Xmas, you'll have the reasons why I haven't posted much these last days.
Please believe that I'm very sorry about this, and it will be fixed very soon. I don't feel too guilty because, once again, I've informed you in the past that 2020 will see another pace, but still, I hate to disappoint.
So, thanks a lot to those of you who stay patiently, and sorry to those who are about to leave. To these ones I'd suggest to come back in a month or two to see the improvement.

Yet I'm happy to announce that I'll post a couple of nice things before the end of this month. I'll dedicate my week-end to this.

Thank you.
Paul.

Caring people are the honey of this world. Thanks a lot man.

That eye condition doesn’t sound pleasant my friend! You enjoy the art and Sometimes don’t realise the strain it can put on those doing it, even though they enjoy it! Don’t overwork yourself :-) take care.

Haha, VERY good point about the carpal tunnel issues. I didn't mention it as I don't want people to think I'm complaining. Since you mentioned it, I hope you're not suffering from it yourself. I bought an ergonomic mouse last year, keeping the hand vertical instead of the ordinary horizontal mouse, and it's a clear relief. Now thanks a lot for the very kind words. I've planned to be more active in 2020 from the begining, and that's what happening with new stuff coming on. Your support is very precious and allows all this. So far, this page seems a winner/winner move, and I hope it'll continue at least a few months before I get ce*so*ed... Let's enjoy it while it lasts. ;-)

I'm happy to support you. My involvement is to thank you for all the past work as well as the new stuff you produce. Your line art is amazing. I'm sure whether it's line art or Daz3D, it takes a lot of time, patience, eye strain and a little carpal tunnel to produce. I'm very pleased with what you've offered so far.
