It looks like everyone here agrees on the 1 month break per series but the characters seem split between a year or a month, you should maybe do a poll? Might be the easiest way to settle this?

I feel like a year might work as for series 3 months doesnt sound that bad, but I feel like a month would be more preferable. Seeing as time flies by so fast it would feel more like a blink and then they are back in rotation.

I'd love to see indefinite character lockout. Will give the more obscure characters that keep being put up a chance. More popular ones get loads of art elsewhere already if someone really wants more. Can always change policy later if it turns out it's too much. Series lockout wouldn't be that necessary with that, perhaps just one month?

One year on character and 3 month on series. Maybe more on series. We already have fairy tale and SAO and fire emblem on repeat. Someone also said erza bunny was already drawn, so I would really consider not drawing that.

I'd say 6-12 month character lockout I'd fine. And I think a series lockout isn't necessary but I'm not opposed to a 1-2 month lockout.

I would say 3-6 months on a lockdown of character already done would be good, then series I would say to put a lockdown on one only if you have a few repeats of a series in a row like 3 and then a lockdown for that series for like a month-ish

Indefinite seems to be way over the edge. A year would be a decent lockout for more of a variety of characters drawn. The series can be two months to increase that variety.

Seasonal lockout for a character (spring, summer, fall, and winter). Don’t get me wrong I love Neo, but organizing her folder can be a nightmare. Wouldn’t lock out a series, just a character from it.

I think a 6 month character lockout once they have been drawn but no series lockouts.

Around 6 months per character seems fine to me, but I'd stay away from full-on series lockouts unless a particular one is just getting done to death constantly. That ones trickier to play by ear though.

I honestly think it's a bad idea to have a long lockout on a series or character. I think the most you could push it is a month lockout on a series and maybe a three month lockout on a character when they win. Any longer than that and I think you will be risking losing patreon supporters. If there's a long lockout people might pause their payment until their series/characters eligible again.

6 months to a year and instead of series lockdown have one character per series unless it becomes a problem

I would say definitely don't give them an indefinite lockdown. A yearlong character lockdown sounds about fair or some serieswide lockdown for, like a month or two, maybe both.

Lockout of once a year is perfectly reasonable, keeps a sense of variety that way.

I'd say series lock of 1 month. So long as we're not getting the same series twice in the same month I don't mind. A year lock for a character sounds long, but given the variety of characters available it really isn't. You could probably lock out characters forever and still never run out of eager suggestions (though I don't think you should lock them out forever, just that you could). Maybe make an exception for December, and have a "best of" month for the favorites from earlier in the year?

I think a loose timeline of 6-12 months lock out would be best. 1 month seems too little time, but 1 year seems like too long IMO. You could always do a modified poll to include locked out characters if you decided you wanted to repeat some characters.

I would have to agree with Erika Lee. Lock out characters for a year and games/series for a month. That way it's fair for new characters to get a chance
