I'll round it out and say "nada". My argument goes like this: Guy sues for 100K (call that the liability "pool"). Lump like sums with like percentages. Thus, the man is "out" $10K, for his 10% blame. But since the city is only 5K to blame, that 5K "award" is eaten entirely by his own $10K liability. But it's all academic, as the attorneys' fees for the three parties, through the duration of the case, will easily top $100K so ONLY THE LAWYERS WIN MUHAHAHAHAHA...oh, wait...I'm not a lawyer. Anyway, it's almost certainly wrong both in choice and in explanation, but it's my pick, and I'm sticking with it.
