Interesting thought. Are the police more violent with minorities and The Left because they're more confident that no one is going to fire an M-16 and claim self defense? I worry that labeling the police response in cities as racism is rhetoric rather than a serious conversation. Is it possible DC police chose to do nothing because they thought placing a few guards with tear gas at the bottlenecks would result in someone in the crowd firing an assault rifle?
