The way they ended this episode actually had me shook to my core. I remember watching this weekly and finishing this episode and just staring at walls for a hot minute.

You're supposed to feel conflicted To clarify the Grace part though, all AIs are supposed to have one task so they don't get confused, which is why you see that Toak guy confused about why Vivy is doing what she's doing. They rewrote Grace's code against her will and gave her another task, which is why her song is distorted. It was a cry for help atp like you were saying, not her genuine singing. If you go back you can see a slight smile on her face while she was dying
