Made In Abyss Season 2 Episode 5

Made In Abyss Season 2 Episode 5

Don't worry I've had people come off extremely rude a lot when trying to get me to see their POV of a series but this didn't come off as that. But while there was some things I didn't know like who the 3 sages were and stuff I forgot, it's not really me misunderstanding that makes me think the lows are really low for me. I already got why Nanachi did what she did and that they told us obviously the Abyss is gonna get really dark and messed up but I still don't have reason enough to want the crew to keep pushing. It's really just difference of perspective but for me none of this is interesting enough or has enough value anywhere close to the amount of messed up stuff they have to go through. It seems to be a common opinion that it is all worth it to a lot of people which is why the people that usually do finish this series seem to have it in their top anime, but for me I'd be just literally lying to y'all if I pretended I felt that way or respect the cast nearly dying over things I think aren't worth it 24/7. I feel super strongly about fighting for things I care about but my first priority would always be keeping things I care about out of danger, which would be me not going to the abyss in the first place and growing up with Reg on the surface even if we are super curious about things down there like my Mom (who's most likely dead) and Reg's history. I wouldn't risk the few things I have for a journey I know I won't survive. But that's what makes me and the cast different I guess. Like I said I don't think it's bad or I'd just say that but it's more of the Highs are really high for me and the Lows are very low. Just like in the series, people have different things they'd sacrifice a lot for and different ways of going about it such as like Bondrewd and Riko. The difference for me is that in life I've never felt that curiosity should get the better of me and get me in situations I feel I'd regret. So while I get that stuff like this is just gonna happen to them constantly in the series, till "I personally" see something that would be worth the value of basically giving up your life (like I said maybe someone you literally saw with your own eyes fall into the abyss like a super close friend or family member that makes me have 100% reason to be crazy enough and go down there). I'm just not gonna like segments like the one of Riko having to basically give up her life or crucial body parts. I guess personally I just see way more value in enjoying the life you have and chasing other dreams but exploration of deadly things has just never been one of them for me. I like darker series but usually when it shows something that I'd value and feel I relate to so that way I want them to keep pushing because I feel I'd do likewise. The things our main cast values (minus Nanachi I guess) I wouldn't go anywhere close to as hard as this for it and risk my life. Just difference in perspective since we're all different people and handle certain situations different ways.

This series heavily revolves around certain themes such as: "Value" finding Your Own Value/Worth in this world through other people or yourself. "The Cost Of Ambition" how far are you willing to go to achieve your goal weather if its to sacrifice something of yourself or others to get from point A to B. From your perspective you may think its not worth it to go into the Abyss since the risks are far too high than the reward, but to cave raiders such as Riko they'd rather live a life of danger & risk to at least try and achieve their goal no matter the cost ("The Cost Of Ambition") is worth it to them then living a life without purpose and not accomplishing their dreams.

I'm sorry if I come off as rude Sxmmy, but you have to remember this is the Abyss. It was already established from the very beginning that shit was gonna be dark especially with how its world building is structured within the Abyss itself with the curses and how each one is more dangerous than the next one the further you go down along with with even more dangerous creatures and environments. It should be no surprise that the 6th layer is this fucked its purposely meant to be like that as its following the rules that were created. Since it seems you might have forgotten, the Abyss also effects the human mind severely and it only worsens with every layer you go down so again it makes sense why the people here are kinda out of their fucking minds a little bit especially for the 6TH LAYER. These people have made their own society/developed their own culture down in the 6th layer that's completely different from anything up in the surface especially with the trading system. In real life there are some crazy ass society's and cultures out there in the world that people practice that seem completely pointless to us but means something to them.

Yes, you were right about that hollow just wanting kids as a mother it just came off really fucking wild in Made In Abyss fashion.

The language that they're speaking in the Village is actually an entirely new language that the author casually came up with. He may be a weirdo, but I gotta respect him for the effort he puts into his work.

It seems maybe you missed this but Vueko is one of the three sages. The three sages are the three characters from episode 1. The one at the restaurant is Wazukyan the dude who was always eating bugs on episode 1. (The Red hollow with horns) Vueko was with them carrying the star compass. (With Red & White Hair) The other one is Belaf, the guy with the huge scar on his face that acted as a translator. (The Snake Hollow with the Mask) Just keep in mind they were first shown in a flashback which is supposed to take place about 1,900 years ago...

This version of Mitty still has both her eyes and is still pretty normal-shaped, this copy is a Mitty from pretty soon after she was turned into a hollow. Meaning this Mitty does not know Reg or Riko. Also as mentioned in this episode, it's just a copied soul of Mitty that was created by the balancing (the black blobs) rather than her actual soul. So she kinda is the real Mitty, but at the same time she isn't. Not that Nanachi would mind, selling her whole body for her and all.

What Nanachi did was completely justified. Kaja really was super depressed that Nanachi gave herself up for Mitty. He thought Mitty was just like a pet or friend, but Mitty was Nanachi's "Haku" which means your highest value thing(they explain that a couple episodes ago) Aka like the love of your life/ reason to be etc. So Nanachi being shown the love of your life/ your life treasure/ reason to live etc when you thought you said goodbye permanently and Mitty's guts are being eaten by a mouthless giant snake dude? It's no wonder Nanachi instantly panicked and sold herself to save Mitty. Other examples of "Haku" is that Reg is Riko's Haku and vice versa, and Mitty is Nanachi's Haku.

Watching this again with context and realizing all the foreshadowing thats hinting what's to come in the future episodes just makes me appreciate this series even more.
