2023-01-13 16:52:23 +0000 UTCThere is a reason why things go wrong in that back alley, the show doesn't flat out tell you why those hollows do that and I can't tell you why myself yet since it would be spoilers but you were on the right track with one of your assumptions! That's all I'll say though. Also an FYI next episode is where the show starts to pick up its pace even more.
