March Poster - WIP Post : Update Part 3

Again, this month's winner was Bovine/Bison and Rootbeer! I decided to go closer to a native North American Bison, and include some Sassafras leaves and blossoms (the original root ingredient to Rootbeer).
Gotta work on that hand holding the mug, and find him some clothes.
Update 1: So I went with the Soda Jerk idea and really like the result! Also figured a way to hold the mug... I think I've seen my dad do that before.
Update 2: Still need the Bottom Text box, and Sassafras flowers, but getting along!
Update 3: Bit of a jump here, huh? Still working on the 'RootBeer' font there, but got most of it inked out and flat colored. Any shading from here will be actually rather subtle so... he's almost done!
Also: Sassafras is an *interesting* plant... they apparently stopped using it as flavoring in the 1960's.

drat, clothes... I do really like the soda jerk idea tho! or a greaser who hits up the soda fountain to stick with the 50s vibe.
