PERVERTED SENTIMENTALITY: An Analysis of UNDERTALE

After a catastrophic crash and multiple data losses, I managed to finally finish this video.

It's been a weird month. Between crashes and a week of bad illness I haven't done as much as I'd liked.

I can't actually watch this as I haven't played Undertale yet and don't want it spoiled, but rest assured...I will return once I'm finished!

Ever since I heard the term, I have been unclear: does liking something or being a fan automatically mean you are a part of the fandom?

Oh, heck, thank you for mentioning me here! That was really kind of you!

Whups, tried to do a line break and posted it. If nothing else, there's the alarm clock app!

Man, I forgot how much I related to Alphys playing the game. That was a really good analysis of it, including some things I hadn't considered. I still come away from Undertale feeling, personally, confused based on my own experiences. I love the game so much, I honestly think its one of the best I have ever played, but it also did harm to me that is so contrary to the morals of it that I don't know how to reconcile. As for revisiting the world, I look forward to the possibility of there being more stuff - I know a spin-off's been talked about at some point, as well as comics,

Loved it!! My only criticism is why the heck do you pronounce Papyrus like that?

Such a great video! I'm glad you could put into words what I have been thinking about undertale since I played it last year, though I didnt really think of it as about fandoms but specifically video games. I wish I could show this to my friends I tried to convince that Undertale is actually a transcendent game and not just a game that has funny jokes, but then spoilers. :/
