Sierra Effect Bonus Video is now up!

Hi there, backers! Hope you enjoy this extra stuff. It's a little disorganised - see if you can guess where these clips would have gone if I hadn't cut them out!

Quick progress report:

- The next video, a Measured Response about everyone's favourite STEMlord, Thunderf00t, will be up in probably less than 24 hours. It's pretty long and I've already had to cut about ten minutes out that only you people will see. Hopefully the stuff I leave in is decent, at least! I got close to finishing it and then realised I still had bonus stuff to put together, hence this video.

- I'm partway through the Fallout 3 video. It's quite long, perhaps too long, more like a series of multiple short video essays than anything, but the game deserves a thoughtful dressing-down for all the bad stuff people ignored back when it was a big deal.

- Additionally, a third project I want out by the end of April has started. It's like a Measured Response, but more of an experiment than normal. I've convinced some pals to help with music and I'm looking for someone to help hold the camera for some parts. I want to keep the topic under wraps until it's ready to show in a complete form. I'm pretty excited about it!

Ciao!

As a musician and hobby audio engineer, the "no one cares about sound" bit enraged me...

What did you do to Emily you MONSTER!?

Absolute fandom corrupts absolutely.

"And I don't think she's ever been right about anything". From what I'm reading, that includes her thoughts about anarchists as well. At least we've been able to get anarchist societies off the ground (albeit, not for long), unlike the free market worshippers and the tankie coms. When is one of these "transitional states" ever going to become proper socialism, rather than the toltilitarian state-capitalism that keeps happening? So yeah, Ayn Rand was a pretentious pseudo-intellectual, and, in other news, men who call women "beautiful creatures" before and/or after making ludicrously over-the-top sexual comments to basically every female YouTuber they follow are, without fail, wearing fedoras and/or trilbies so well that they're spinning on their heads. I apologize for that digression; the anime fandom can be very... compelling at times. Objectified 2-D grills, man. Not. Even. ONCE! I'm convinced they helped make me a much worse person when I was a vulnerable, cripplingly insecure teenager, but never again! Now, as a cripplingly insecure twenty-something, I know a good deal more about my sexual/gender identity and social context of media depictions at least, so I have that going for me... Still need to work on coherence, perhaps.

I actually am curious about what you have to say about Fallout 3. There's a lot there that needs to be addressed, of course. You Marxist you.

I still feel bad for following thunderf00t before he showed his true colours. The "I am several thousand dollars in debt" is funny since somehow he still owns two macbooks. What I am also surprised about Jordan is he has several thousand dollars of personal debt...Wouldn't maybe six months into making your living from the youtubes have made some form of limited liability company. (I am not learning us law to know the proper term.)

Thanks for the update! Lots of exciting stuff coming up. XD I've always been curious if Jordan ever reacted to your videos so it was interesting to see that last bit.
