I fully understand how you feel. Sometimes you just aren't in the mindset needed at the right time. I honestly cannot wait for that future video where you give us your thoughts about Elden Ring, but please don't feel any obligation to ever push yourself when your mind does not allow it. As for me, I have been playing Elden Ring non-stop. I 100%ed (Platinum and non-achievement objectives like collecting) the game recently, and it took me 3 playthroughs (NG, NG+ and NG++) on the same character to get everything out of this game. This took me about 120 hours. So yes, I can definitely see how Elden Ring can seem daunting with a completionist (and metroidvania) mindset going in. Much appreciation for your work and time, GFi.

Maybe one day I’ll breakthrough and learn how to enjoy it but with the little free time I have I don’t have it in me to bash my head against anything. I’d rather hunt metal slimes in dragon quest or chill with my friends in persona. I enjoyed hearing you articulate something similar. I hope things look up for you soon. Your videos mean a lot to me and I hope you know you and your work are very appreciated!
