"What, what's that?! 👀 A Christmas-themed photoshoot here at the end of January? What is going on Mikkel?? 😅😆", you say - and I will give you some answers.. 😏👌🏻

Today it's exactly one month (or 30 days) since we did the shoot - and since Christmas is long gone, we decided that it would be a fun little thing, to release this one today. ☺️
Most of you might remember this insane nude-shoot I did with this wonderful lady named Malou, which still is available for all PREMIUM subscribers right here, or the sensual seductive and cozy lingerie shoot here - but this time around we decided to go in the complete other direction.. 🥳🎄

So before we head on into February and get some naaaaasty 🔥🔥 new shoots (like this doubble shoot, releasing in a few days from now.. 🥵🔞🙈) or the long awaited 'Behind The Scenes' video from my trip to Italy with Trine Lasson, dropping next week. 😉

BACK ON TRACK..

Malou wrote me with the idea of doing a full on Christmas vibed shoot, so I suggested we actually made full use of the cozy atmospheric lights, a well arranged Christmas tree gives. The concept was therefore to make everything with the ambient light it created. 100% artificial - but not with any addition of my LED pavotubes or anything. ☺️

I shot on Av-mode with a high ISO like 1600/2000 on most of the photos. I did so because of the extreme low light on set, so to avoid having blurred photos it was a necessity. 🤓 When working with high end DSLR or mirrorless cameras, the grain produced by the high ISO shouldn't really be no problem since most of the sensors can handle it quite well.

FUN FACT; I even ADDED more grains on the photo below, as you can see on the right side of the photo (which was how it looked after I toned/grained it 😉)

(Above is a comparison between the original shot and my adjustments in Capture One Pro. As mentioned I added some grains to the look, to create a destinctive vibe I aimed for - eventhou the photos was shot on a high ISO)

Below is a still image from the 'Behind The Scenes' video I posted in the beginning of the month, showing how it went down when we did the photos - and it's a good example of what the lighting can do if handle the right way.

I didn't want to use it as 'mainlight', more like 'a highlighter' on most of the photos. Notice how dark and under lit Malou actually is on most of the photos we did next to the tree. That's because I used the light to emphasize her beautiful curves, hair and overall body, while still keeping the cozy and low lit atmosphere. 😁👇🏻

(The yellow dotted lines are where the highlight really shines through. I made use of the artificial light coming in from the tree, to "paint" Malous beautiful body)

Another thing to note is how this above still looks kinda paled and 'grey'. That's because it was filmed on an iPhone and the white balance in such thing, is crap - and because I knew I wanted a warm and cozy look on the final results, I cranked up the white balance on the Canon R5 (to avoid having a look like this above still!). 😎

Everything was done on my Canon R5 and most of the photos were done with the Canon 24-70 mm f./2.8 L USM III lens. 🤓

As always: Please feel free to ask away about whatever you want to know about this shoot! ☺️ Technical stuff, practical stuff, tips or tricks - or simply just let me know what you think. 🥳🙏🏻

Fedt man, tak!!
