I tried to edit my comment and ended up losing everything. I’ll try to recreate it: “B”. I can’t imagine the jury would get to decide if the treatise were reliable or not. What if the book were about exceptions to irregular verb conjugation of ancient Sanskrit... or, astrophysics... I think “C” and “D” have got to be wrong. I also don’t thin “A” is correct. Basically the question says the witness gave his testimony based “solely” on his own experience. The book really has nothing to do with anything.
