Progress Update
Added 2025-08-08 01:35:03 +0000 UTCHey folks. Chapter twenty-one has been off to a decent start, sitting at about 3,200 words right now. Less than I hoped for, but at the same time, I have been introducing many, many new streamers, which involves extra consideration with their background and build up. The planning also took longer than expected since I have dozens of different scene ideas for this summer camp and I'm slowly deciding which will fit and which won't. I'm also making sure to highlight how loving Jodi and John's relationship is before any shenanigans take place.
I am proud to say that this chapter starts off quickly with a small time skip. None of that usual scene delay I tend to do, inadvertently. For an example, please see the Uber scene where Josh is dreaming about talking to Rae instead of actually doing it. There's definitely a place for that build up but it can get tiresome in smut. This chapter won't start off like that so it's all meat and bones; introductions, relationship building, and some mischief here and there.
I'm also aware that I have to follow up on Lily's return to the hospital after Michael woke up, since that's a large story line and this time jump will be running over that, but that's a problem for another time.
Unfortunately, I have some unexpected irl traveling plans, which means my writing will be stalled until at least Monday. Pushing out the stud preview deadline until then.
