Whoa, I'm super-stoked about this one... The art is some of my best, and the story moves forward nicely! (with more than a few plot twists to look forward to ๐) Between conception and delivery, it has grown to an unexpectedly substantial 351 pics, with 2 new kinks (DILF and Chastity), 3 sex scenes, and a whole crazy origin story... Also some great music (promise me you won't watch it on mute! ๐ )
But first, two Really Important Things:
1. First Really Important Thing: This patch doesn't start where the last update left off. You have to go back to the scene where Miss Munipanni asks you which cell you want and pick 'Rydick' to play it. Instructions (with a pic) can be found in the starting menu - and know you can always message me or ask other players for help on Discord if you have any trouble!
2. Second Really Important Thing: This update has m/m sexual content only... Sorry f/m players! I promise you will be getting enough cool stuff in March to warrant the wait! All sex scenes are avoidable, however - so if you don't mind some homoerotic content, it's worth playing for the storyline. As for m/m players - I think you will be delighted ๐

2021-08-20 18:41:18 +0000 UTCThanks uman! Yes - this was one of the night-time ones, so some screen adjustment may be necessary on certain monitors... I'll generally be avoiding dark scenes, but occasionally they are vital to the plot. I did consider the possibility of allowing all three - but it genuinely came across as ridiculous (and not glorious SpaceCorps ridiculous, just quite bad). However - you will be able to gain those cards in the future, and I'm going to make the Brig a 'visitable' location later on in the game if you commit a crime - so you can play those scenes and others as part of a playthrough ๐

2020-02-22 22:31:47 +0000 UTCMy only other "complaint" is that some of the scenes are really dark. Yes, the dark church and night-time almost demands it, but it was really hard to see what was going on, and I had to jack up the brightness on my monitor.

I'd think it'd be doable with just some additional dialog and choices...I dont think you need to add any new images. Like, if I choose Luke, after my scene with him, the jailer can come back, see the mess, and ask if I want to stay with Luke or switch to the Khumon or Rydick. Then I could go to the Khumon, and after my scene with her, the jailer comes back and asks if I want to stay or go to Luke or Rydick. Then when I get to Rydick and do his scene, the jailer takes me out for the interview scene. Basically whichever prisoner I choose to be with, let the scene play, then ask if I want to move or stay. If I choose to stay, or I have moved 3 times, it goes to the interview scene, otherwise I move to whichever prisoner I chose. This way I can collect all 3 cards. I really hate the fact that I can only get 1 card here.

Unfortunately it grew bigger than planned, and there were enough bug-fixes necessary from previous updates I couldn't do it this time. I do intend to start trying this out for some Patreon releases in future ๐

2020-02-19 23:23:50 +0000 UTCI do not know a lot about coding, but it might save most people a lot of bandwith if you make a upgrade pack that only contains the updated files (new images and textblocks etc.) Of course it would be prudent to make a whole version available for the newcomers. Once again I do not know whether or not it is possible to do that with ren'py games or even doable for you, but I know some developers do exactly that with a HTML game.

I encourage everyone to play through it, even if you don't like m/m stuff (you can skip the sex scenes as usual), because the plot reveals are definitely worth it! I normally wouldn't expect a detailed well planned story in these kinds of games but you continue to raise the bar Ranli. As usual, the music choices are on point, I don't know how you even find all these versions lol!
