North Carolina: Everette, part 1

It's cold outside and the days of shooting in nature, at the lake and elsewhere seem to be over for now - we'll see. I might have some more to squeeze in, otherwise it'll all be indoor shoots for the time being.
Everette and I connected through another photographer in the Charlotte area we both know. I was chatting with him on instagram and he sent a screen shot of him his next model. Given the model selection is minimal for me in this area, my standards, expectations and 'types' tend to vary and fluctuate. I liked what I saw though and figured I'd reach out to him and see if he'd be down to shoot.
Down he was, to say the least. He's been working out hard, lost some weight and was beyond eager to show it off - telling me more than once, "any kind of photos you want, whatever you need and whatever you want me to do, I'm open to it.". Well, what photographer doesn't want to hear that?
So here we have it, 30 year old North Carolina boy Everette. He works in IT and loves country music. We drove around that day from one location to the other listening to 90's country and getting to know each other. In this series he was such a good sport and I gave him every opportunity to say no or back out, but he made the sacrifice and got in the lake in some really chilly weather - with a strong breeze even! The sun wasn't warm, but it sure was bright.
