Cuba: Kevin, part 1

Kevin was another model I met through the modeling agency in Havana. He's 21 or so and in college studying something related to physical fitness, sports science or something - appropriate given how he looks in the pictures, wouldn't you say? While Rydel (previous post) may have been my favorite in regards to being photogenic and a total ADONIS, Kevin I offers something more - the whole package I guess.

I had 2 different shoots with Kevin and each time was such a pleasure. He was hands down the sweetest, most thoughtful and polite guy I collaborated with down there. Sure, everyone was nice and friendly, but Kevin just took it to the next level. Whether it was offering (more like insisting) to help carry one of my bags, offering me a hand to help me climb up out of a difficult spot we were in, or holding doors, he was always ready to help. Since I've left Cuba we've remained in touch and his beautiful character still shines through, even via WhatsApp.

This first series is from our first day of shooting. Four of us took a long taxi ride into the suburbs to a beach (2 models, the agent and myself). After shooting a bit at this spot, we made a long walk to another beach nearby. It was a hot, sweaty day fighting the scorching sun (hello sunburn!) and then the afternoon showers swept in, which forced us to call it quits.
