Havana: Pablo, part 2

Pablo was my first shoot from my recent trip to Cuba and actually these images are from our 2nd shoot. We had done another a few days prior, but since we hit it off and all, we wanted to have another go at it. For this one, we took a taxi out of the city and headed to Playa de las Hermanitas, a beach 30 or 45 minutes or so away.

It was a long, expensive taxi ride and by the time we got there it started to rain. We stood hunched under a leaky beach umbrella, soaked for an hour or so as the downpour intensified. FINALLY it cleared up and we jumped right into taking photos. We wanted some beachy shots, but there were of course other people around, so we made do with some spots nearby. His underwear got a little dirty, which I actually like for the shots, but he didn't 😂

The taxi driver was back at the car waiting and refused to wait any longer than we originally agreed, despite the lost time with the rain. In the end we only had about 30 minutes or so to shoot, unfortunately. Regardless, it was an interesting experience and I guess in retrospect a little fun. After this we went back to my Airbnb to get some other, more intimate shots.
