San Francisco: Brendan, part 1

First off, I know, I know - there's no skin in this series - the horror! π Fear not, the next one will make up for that. I wanted to share these for a couple different reasons. Firstly, they are from my first few months of shooting - 12 years ago! Secondly, they make me nostalgic for the amazing city that San Francisco was (and in some areas probably still is). That first year or so of shooting guys in various locations around SF really inspired and motivated me. I was just about in love with the scenery and city as much as I was with the guys I was practically begging to model for me!
Honestly, I can't remember anything about Brendan. This was pre-Instagram and Grindr, so I would have met him through the website I used to rely heavily on back then - ModelMayhem. He was straight, fit and being such a newbie at it still, I was just hoping I could get some decent images so we'd both be happy and it wouldn't have been a waste of time. In the end, I thought it was a good shoot and I was happy with the results - even more so now that I've re-edited them with my current editing skills. The images at Lands End overlooking the Pacific really give me the West Coast/western vibe (of course the plaid shirt adds to that).
