Taiwan: Jaffrey, part 4

This was my second shoot with Jaffrey - the first being a year prior. That one was more of a street/urban theme shoot in Taipei, along with some rooftop shots.

For our second shoot we headed out of the city and into the suburbs along the coast. I found out about a really interesting, mostly abandoned village, of sorts. Sometimes known as 'Futuro Village', it was initially intended as a vacation community, but failed and now the unique pre-fab homes sit mostly empty and succumbing to nature. These 'UFO houses' were designed by a Finnish Architect in the late 1960s and were purchased by people all over the world, which means you can still find them (if you're lucky) on different continents. Most have been demolished or destroyed, but some still exist - the biggest concentration of them being in Taiwan.

A little about Jaffrey - really nice guy - soft spoken, a little quiet and too conservative to ever do any underwear shots with me 😂 He was up for a little adventure and a day of exploring this cool area with me though, so underwear or not, still some decent shots came out of it I think. Enjoy!
