The World Cup is upon us!

The 'Script World Cup - Garden of Djinn' kicks off this Thursday on the official Twitch channel, with a major app update going live tomorrow which will allow you to see all of the matches, scripts, and eventually league tables. But for those of you keen for an appetizer, here is every script, Djinn rule, and all of their respective art. All text has been provided by the authors and presented as they submitted it. See you all on the pitch!

Witch Hunt by Nick B
All Minions are Witches. Nominated Demons can not move tonight.

A Lil Monsta script where all evil characters are Witches! The Djinn rule both incentivizes good players to nominate in order to limit the evil team's options, and also deters them by threatening extra deaths.

Buyer's Remorse by Mist
Players have 7 gold. Each day, an ability is auctioned; highest unique bidder gains it until dawn, even if dead. Bids are not returned (bar evil ties) & secret.

A humble merchant has come to peddle their wares at the very same time an evil Demon haunts your village. Can capitalism save these townsfolk? Or will they succumb to the foibles of greed? Recommended to stay on script for abilities, but ST's choice.

Council of the Dead by Ember
At the start of n4, dead wake together for 2 min, then secretly vote on a living player (if there's no majority, the ST chooses). The chosen player gets a boon.

The script's goal to have limited confirmation, giving the dead a harder decision on who to give the boon. The boon given is up to ST discretion, so while it is meant to help, don't be afraid to balance its strength based on which team is winning.

The Djinn's Bargain by phillyCHEEEEEZ
Nominators may choose to die after making a nomination. If they do, their nominee's ability works twice until dusk tomorrow.

This script explores power and sacrifice. Nominators may choose to die to let their nominee use their ability twice before dusk tomorrow. Players must weigh empowering allies against the cost of their life, creating high-stakes decisions and tension.

Show Me Wonders by DinosaurSatan
Each night*, all players secretly choose in advance to live or die if they were to be chosen by the Al-Hadikhia. Al-Hadikhia choices are not announced.

The existence of the Al-Hadikhia is kept secret. Roles were added to account for the deaths at night of players who chose to live. Roles that benefit from revival will create dilemmas for both teams but are great to bluff as for evil.

Trained Killer by Ekin
Each night*, the Demon attacks the next living in-play character(s) in script order. Characters who survive might get reattacked.

This script determines a kill order for the two Demons who normally kill via the ST. It is intentionally out of SAO and the order is carefully constructed to work with the Djinn rule. Demon works down the list but might retarget players who survive.

The Phantom Detectives by Schnauzer
Dead players (not Demons) keep their abilities. Each Townsfolk loses their ability at the start of night 1, then regains it on death.

Townsfolk who die become powerful ghosts who commune with the living to solve their own murder. The evil team may keep powerful Townsfolk alive to deny them info, and good characters will be angling to get killed at a critical moment.

One Day More by Robe
Signal Failure: There is a 24 hour delay impacting all characters with abilities that know or learn information.

An S&V style script: strong info disrupted by outsiders/evil. Djinn means info is delayed by 24 hours. So the Widow call goes out Night 2; HP learns yesterday’s name; a Sage gets info the night after they die (and can be poisoned if they out), etc.

Stowed Away by CaffeineBoost
Up to 2 recommended travellers might be in the bag & the player count lowers accordingly. Travellers are not announced, executions & exiles are equivalent.

A script where Travellers can go in the bag. It's Sentinel on steroids. Bluff Deviant as the DA, bluff Mutant as Scapegoat, you can secretly have 2 Cerenovuses (do not have 2 DA's). Fun on all player sizes (including 10 & 13).

Off to See the Wizard by Crispy Duck
If a Wizard is in play 1 good player knows & each day, while alive, may privately guess the wizard wish & learn how accurate they are if a wish has been made.

This script is about solving wizard wishes. It encourages a subtle wizard or a minion to bluff the Djinn ability. It gives starting ability characters a reason to stay alive. Wizard clues can be more subtle too.

I See Dead People by A Terrifying Wizard
Characters die as normal but the storyteller doesn’t announce deaths. Dead players can nominate. Poisoned players don’t wake up

This script plays with something that players normally know for certain- whether they are alive or dead. Voting is risky, the demon can hide in new ways and new ways to lie emerge. Characters like the chambermaid and poisoner find new uses.

The River Styx by Rhea
The Ferryman's ability is amended to: Each night* the demon may choose if all dead players regain their vote token.

This script contains reasons for minions to play more freely as outed evil, knowing that they can make extra plays from the grave. Good players can counter with their own dead votes, but use too many and the Demon may not restore the votes!

This is Not My Beautiful House by JC
The Amnesiac is considered an Outsider character type.

The Amnesiac can sometimes be feels-bad for town if you can't get the ability. Here, the Amne is meant to be scary, because you know you're messing up town but not how. The script is boilerplate to let the ST have options how to wield the ability.

Binary Supernovae by Hystrex
If a Demon dies by execution, good wins. Summoner only removes 1 Demon. [+1 Demon]

Binary Supernovae is the "Duo Boss" of clocktower. 2 Demons work together to crush town, playing around each others' unique strengths & weaknesses. They might even kill each other! Town wins by finding a single Demon, but will they have enough time?

The Warrens by Zets
If 5 or more players live, evil players who nominate other living evil players (not Travellers) immediately swap characters.

A script where the Demon can escape threats by jumping around via nominations. Legion swapping does nothing, but Legion can take advantage of paranoia around the custom rule to push for executions.

The Ballad of Seat 7 by TrashWarlock
Seat 7 remains empty. Its choices are arbitrary. Once per game, the storyteller may speak on it's behalf.

Created in collaboration with the Strings server. Seat 7 is here to save you from a teensy and add some mystery to your already unsolvable game.
