Mexico City: Erick, part 3

Erick and I met through our mutual friend Alan (featured in a previous post). They are both full-time ballet dancers and naturally quite comfortable with nudity, movement and to an extent, exhibition I suppose.

Erick was my last shoot of this trip and as luck would have it, we had a very cloudy sky to contend with. I shouldn't complain, as every other day and shoot was met with strong, beautiful sunshine, so eventually my luck had to run out!

In addition to the crap weather, we also had to make do with an uninspiring and dull location. I didn't want to repeat photoshoot locations if possible on this trip, so I took a gamble on an unseen rooftop I was referred to. Actually, the building belongs to the parents of a good friend of mine in Charlotte, North Carolina. She gave me lots of tips and such before and during this trip and also let me know her parents had a rooftop if I needed it. She didn't have any pictures of it, so I kept it as a sort of back up plan if anything fell through. Regardless, I'm grateful for her eagerness to help. In fact, she told me her grandfather (or maybe great grandfather) built the apartment building with his own hands and that it would be an honor for me to do a photoshoot there. Knowing I do a lot of nudes, I confirmed with her that it'd be ok. She enthusiastically said yes🔥🇲🇽
