Mexico City: Carlos, part 1

While most of the guys I photographed on my recent trip were from Instagram, I did manage to squeeze in a couple Grindr guys, including Carlos. It was clear right off the bat that he had the right level of vanity and exhibitionism to make a great subject for me and my art 🤩

I stayed at a really interesting Airbnb in the Condesa neighborhood of the city. It was 2 levels (with a narrow, rickety, old iron spiral staircase) and actually quite small. The shower, on the other hand...huge! The rest of the bathroom was pretty tight, but the shower - plenty of room.

Most of the shots we did in the shower because I liked it so much and it had soft, nice lighting. Carlos was sort of my trial run using it, because I had another shoot there some days later. We ended up doing shots elsewhere in the space as well, but so far these are my favorites.

Overall it was a great shoot and I made a new friend. Cute, sexy and really just a nice, nice guy - no doubt I'll see him again when I get back down there!
