I still really enjoyed that scene, I’m glad you included it. I think it makes everything clearer, and this is very important, since many readers thought Jane’s husband truly cheated on her with Dalia. This detail is fondamental to correctly understand the evolution of Jane’s character and her relationship with her husband.
