Unfortunately, I was not successful in programming an import VFD and burned it up. The one you used at least at intelligible marking on the connector strips.

But that only happens if theres something new to learn or challenging related to it. I'm not (typically) a fan of making things just for the sake of making them. As you've probably picked up from my projects, there's usually some spin I put on each one. Whether a mechanism/feature I've not seen or used before or some challenging/new operation.

2023-07-20 17:58:38 +0000 UTCI love watching a detail-oriented engineer do a project right instead of slap-dash nonsense. Inheritance Machining indeed. A personal question, do you still get the joy of exploration and wonder tearing down these machines and building a system from the ground up, or has it become commonplace? I know the entire channel is basically predicated on you loving to build things, but I distinctly recall being stuck in traffic once and seeing a truck's airbrakes working and thinking "That's really neat!" when I should've been paying attention to traffic. There's just so much wonder out there, even if we made it ourselves.

A tip for the wiring to the Tblocks is to use wire ferrules. They seat better and don't allow the strands to separate, better connection and carry the amps, recommended by my old Phoenix Rep. Amazon $17/1800 w/crimper. Thanks for the treat!
