A Rare Fit

Pretty different approach, direct in colour rather than greyscale, but using Applejack as reference to try and get a similar result.
Not entirely sure which I prefer... they both have pros and cons haha.
Welp, maybe I just have to make more to find out?! Not sure if I'll end up making more in exactly this style. Regarding the higher detail fidelity, that's something I do generally want, but maybe in different ways. Or not... we'll see.
