ROUGH CUT: Mr Burns: A Post-Electric Video Essay

How imagining pop culture's trajectory into the future can help create a future.

This is the rough cut of the next video essay, meaning there will be some missing music, unfinalized graphics, minor edits that have yet to be made, BUT it is viewable in its entirety here on Patreon before the final version debuts on YouTube.

This video starts by talking about the 2012 play Mr Burns: A Post-Electric Play and goes through theatre history, the theory of comedy, the efficacy and practicality of nuclear power, The Simpsons, and of course the apocalypse!

A big thanks to everyone pledging, to our interviewees Emily Clark, Jaime Robledo, and Lindsay Broadwell, to our guest voice actors Atom Fellows, David Kowarsky, Donald Kallgren (thanks Dad!), hoots, Jasmine Garcia, Legal Kimchi, Mainely Mandy, Matt Crowley, Sam Lodgson, and Zylla, and finally to Chris Darland who, with Atom Fellows, helped with location shooting.

I'll be spending the next month making the final video YouTube-ready. Can't wait to show you the polished version!

EDIT: The first post forgot to credit David Kowarsky for his excellent voice work. So sorry about that David!
