Glow Up

The low hum of my phone vibrated on the vanity as I stared at my reflection. Tonight was the night – my first date with Sarah, and I wanted to be absolutely perfect. I’d spent hours on my makeup, carefully contouring and highlighting, and my new black top with the sheer sleeves and plunging neckline felt just right. The red pencil skirt hugged my hips in a way I hoped was more alluring than alarming. But even with all the effort, a nagging insecurity gnawed at me. My hips felt a little too narrow, my chest not quite ample enough, and my overall figure just… not quite what I envisioned for a knockout first impression.

Then I remembered the app. "GlowUp," it was called, promising to subtly enhance your features for that extra boost of confidence. I'd downloaded it on a whim a few weeks ago but hadn't dared to try it. Tonight, though, desperation trumped hesitation. I opened the app, selected "Enhance Figure," and with a nervous gulp, tapped "Apply."

A strange shimmer rippled across the screen, and then my reflection seemed to… shift. My eyes widened. It wasn't subtle. Not subtle at all. My chest swelled, the fabric of my top straining against a suddenly much fuller bust. My hips, already in that red skirt, pushed outwards, the material stretching taut as my curves expanded dramatically. I gasped, stumbling back from the vanity as a wave of dizziness washed over me.

"What in the –" The words caught in my throat. My stomach, which had been flat moments before, began to distend. Not just a little, but rapidly, alarmingly. It was like watching a time-lapse video of something blooming, only it was my own body. My mind reeled, trying to process the impossible. My clothes were screaming for mercy. The red skirt, once form-fitting, now clung precariously over a rapidly growing, undeniably round belly.

A sharp, almost painful fullness bloomed in my breasts, and a strange tingling sensation spread. My hands flew to my chest, pressing against the suddenly tender, swollen flesh. Was that… a faint sensation of liquid? Oh god, milk? Milk?!

Panic seized me. I spun around, trying to catch a glimpse of my backside in the full-length mirror, but the sheer bulk of my burgeoning belly made it impossible to turn fully. I could feel the added weight, the immense pressure pulling on my lower back. My hips felt like they were spreading wider and wider to accommodate the burgeoning mass in front, and a new, heavy sway accompanied my every movement. I tried to walk, but each step was an effort, my legs protesting under the sudden, monumental increase in my own weight.

Then came the kicks. Three distinct, almost simultaneous flutters from within my impossibly swollen abdomen. Triplets. The app hadn't just made me prettier; it had made me pregnant. With triplets. And fast.

My phone buzzed again, a notification from GlowUp: "Enhancement successful! Enjoy your new glow!" I stared at the screen, then at my grotesque, glorious reflection, the reality of my situation crashing down on me. Sarah would be here any minute. My "new glow" was a full-blown, nine-month, triple-pregnancy glow.

The doorbell rang. It was Sarah. I swallowed, the taste of metallic panic in my mouth, mingled with that strange, undeniable sensation of milk let-down. My red skirt was now stretched to its absolute limit, a testament to the impossible transformation. This wasn't a date anymore. This was… something else entirely. And I had absolutely no idea how to explain it.
