Some more WIPs from the volcanic landscape. I gave them another run through my workflow to change the toning to a darker, more ashen color. I think the result looks much better than yesterday's more brown/reddish textures of the same area.
Not only that but I found a better way to create very detailed baked ambient occlusion maps and updated all ground textures with that generation which gives them a lot more depth and detail. The difference is also noticeable on these screenshots.
Ignore the ugly dirt cliff textures for now! They still have to be adapted.
