Chapter 367: Troubled Friendships and Christmas Approaches

"Did you know from the start that Dumbledore and Voldemort would cause such a massive incident?" Rada asked. The busy Manipulator was trying to eat her mangosteen in Aiden's arms.

"I saw Dumbledore's thoughts through their interactions with the collective unconscious sea," Aiden said, smoothing her fur.

Actually, as a Discerner, without borrowing the power of the Ossuary Church, his ability range was limited to at most a large city. Unfortunately, the Ossuary Church couldn't be used frequently either. As more and more ordinary people connected to the first project—the Psychic Server—Aiden could only use the Ossuary Church long-term to obscure it from the Deep Realm Kings.

For cross-continental dream projection or perceiving the other party's spiritual interaction in this manner, even the former Angel King had to borrow Uniqueness to accomplish it.

So Tom's European move was indeed a calculated strategy.

On the Quidditch pitch, newly appointed commentator Zacharias relentlessly mocked Harry, only praising his relatives, displaying poor judgment. But Ron performed spectacularly, intercepting six Quaffles throughout the match. Ginny led two Beaters to score.

Gryffindor won 230 to 0.

"I really can't believe they used banned potions before the match," Hermione said. She immediately sat beside Aiden, complaining to him.

"Wait, did something happen?"

Aiden immediately used his Discernment ability to supplement what had occurred. Harry had pretended to add Felix Felicis to Ron's breakfast, while Draco didn't participate in the match because of Aiden's plan to capture Harry's attention. Various coincidences convinced Ron of the effectiveness of Felix Felicis, allowing him to achieve excellent results on the field.

"It's not that they..." Aiden was just about to explain when Ginny, on the field, directly crashed her broom into the commentary box.

The entire table was smashed. Zacharias was sent flying, while Professor McGonagall beside him glared at Ginny.

"Sorry, Professor. In sports, after all, injuries are inevitable," Ginny said, smiling at Professor McGonagall.

"Who did she learn that from?" Hermione turned back to look at Aiden.

The weather today is just perfect, Aiden thought, looking up at the sky.

Ha, the system sent back a laugh it hadn't given in a long time.

That night, Gryffindor students gathered in the tower to celebrate, cheering loudly that Weasley was their king.

"You really shouldn't have done this!" Hermione quietly came behind Harry in the crowd.

Harry pulled out an intact bottle of Felix Felicis from his pocket and laughed. "Aiden said not to give the other party too much time to think."

"You didn't give it, but Ron thought you did."

Harry nodded.

In the middle of the crowd, Lavender pulled Ron close and kissed him fiercely. Hermione, seeing this, tossed her head and left.

Harry felt the person behind him disappear. Standing in the crowd, he glanced at Ron, then decisively pursued.

Hermione ran all the way to an empty classroom near Gryffindor Tower. This place had been unused for a long time.

Pushing the door open, she saw a figure holding a cat. Before him spread a massive net with many Muggle perspectives floating on it.

"Aiden?" Hermione called out to him. Harry also burst in and saw this scene.

Aiden closed the book in his hand. "What's wrong?"

"That incident just now was... never mind," Hermione said dejectedly, finding a place to sit.

"Her mood isn't very good," Harry explained to Aiden, who was going to accompany Hermione.

Aiden patted Rada's back. She gave an understanding look and ran into Hermione's arms to be pampered and roll around.

"All right, Hermione, don't be sad," Harry opened his mouth to comfort her.

"I just came out to practice some spells," Hermione said stubbornly. She pretended to take out her wand.

Aiden also walked over. Rada winked at him.

"This feeling is terrible. You understand it well. When Dean and Ginny were together, I saw your eyes. As your best friend," Hermione looked at Harry.

"Perhaps when feeling sad, you can focus attention on work," Aiden said, raising his eyebrow.

He handed the book he had just been reading to both of them.

"Leave this with you for now. I'll come get it when your moods improve."

Finished speaking, Aiden picked up Rada and turned into white smoke, disappearing from the classroom.

The two barely had time to be surprised before Ron and Lavender, who came looking for a place to continue kissing, burst in.

"Oh, there's already someone here," Lavender's mouth corners turned down. She signaled to Ron, then ran out.

Ron scratched his head. "What's with these girls?"

Hermione angrily stood up and shouted a spell with great volume. "Oppugno!"

All the summoned birds flew at Ron. He hurriedly ran out of the classroom and shut the door. The birds punctured six or seven holes in the wooden door, then dispersed.

Hermione sat back down, leaning against Harry's shoulder, sobbing.

"This is the feeling," Harry said, patting her hand. The two wounded souls reached a consensus at this moment.

Outside the castle, wind and snow continued. The faint light reflected through the window showed Ron and Lavender's lingering affection.

While two wounded souls leaned on each other for mutual comfort, a heartless dragon lay in bed snoring loudly.

The next day, as Christmas approached, Hagrid alone chopped down twelve Christmas trees for decorations.

Aiden was temporarily dragged by Horace to help set up his evening party venue in his office.

"I'm telling you, I've invited many celebrities, and you're one of them. You must attend then!" After the busy work, Horace smiled and handed Aiden a cup of black tea.

"Of course," Aiden said. He picked up the black tea and took a sip.

Meanwhile, Harry seemed to have triggered a time-turner these days, going back three years. He was caught in the middle between Ron and Hermione, in a difficult situation.

Ron thought his and Lavender's relationship was justified. After all, he was a free person and hadn't promised Hermione anything. While Hermione said he was a thoughtless fool who didn't care about anyone.

However, they actually tacitly agreed not to meet in the common room. To maintain this precarious friendship, Harry could only accompany both sides. He tried to be a listener when either felt sad, accompanying Ron during the day, Hermione at night. It was draining him completely.

One evening, he went to the library again to accompany Hermione.

"Harry, I must tell you, be careful. Recently, I heard in the bathroom that many people bought Love Potions, planning to use them on you," Hermione said. She cast a Silencing Charm around them.

"What? Why?" Harry asked, confused.

"Because of this," a voice interjected, handing over a newspaper.

"Aiden, what are you doing here again?" Hermione asked, surprised, turning back.

"If you weren't so distracted, you'd remember I was sitting here first, and you unconsciously included me when you cast the Silencing Charm," Aiden said, pinching the bridge of his nose.
