HP: The Duelist of Hogwarts - 383

Chapter 383: Holiday Training

Here, Dawlish and the others fully supported Barrett.

Barrett could receive Dawlish's secret support, plus the Slytherin Brotherhood's open support. After all, in the Slytherin Brotherhood's view, Barrett himself was a pure-blooded, true pureblood supremacist prospect.

Having coincidentally befriended Dawlish and others, getting close to Minister Fudge, who was supported by pureblood families, and possessing considerable ability himself, he naturally deserved vigorous cultivation.

At the same time, Barrett followed Sean's orders to befriend and mutually support Jennifer, not only helping Jennifer suppress that Oliver fellow but also receiving Jennifer's reciprocal support, steadily raising Barrett's status within the Slytherin Club with increasing backing.

In short, Barrett could now be considered a rising star in the pureblood supremacist camp. Even those established pureblood families had begun showing goodwill toward him. In a while, he should truly be able to control some Ministry department with real power.

All of this was actually laying groundwork for Sean's future plans.

Ending his Knockturn Alley visit, Sean didn't immediately return home but went to the orphanage. At this time, Harry, Blaise, and the other six had all arrived. Under Aldrich's guidance, they entered the orphanage and waited for Sean at the training ground inside.

Entering the training ground, Sean looked at the six and smiled with a nod. "Everyone's here. Then I won't waste words—let's start training now."

Waving his wand, hanging tires appeared again. But this time, not just hanging tires—there were also six alchemical puppet dogs.

"These alchemical puppet dogs will follow you. If your progress is too slow, they'll directly attack and bite your butts. If you don't want to be bitten, stay fully focused and speed up. After all, in real combat, those Death Eaters won't give you leisurely opportunities to dodge!"

Seeing Harry, Blaise, and the others had no objections, Sean directly controlled the six alchemical puppet dogs to lunge at them, frightening Hermione into screaming and hurriedly rushing into the hanging tires.

Ignoring Harry and the others shouting and yelling under the alchemical dogs' pursuit, Sean crouched on the ground and began drawing a life alchemy array. Training would inevitably bring exhaustion and injuries. Natural recovery was too slow and not conducive to them gaining enough experience and skills in the shortest time. So Sean used life alchemy here. Having experienced it before, Sean knew this could not only heal injuries and relieve fatigue but also subtly enhance their physical qualities, benefiting the continued training plan.

Of course, the materials for the life alchemy array weren't provided by Sean himself but obtained from Dumbledore. People focused on Dumbledore's strength without considering his wealth. As Britain's, even Europe's, strongest wizard—one of the world's top wizards—his fortune must have been immense.

Moreover, Dumbledore's accomplishments in Transfiguration and Alchemy, along with various patents like the twelve uses of dragon's blood, meant his wealth was substantial. Under the pretense of training Harry, Sean managed to secure considerable funding from Dumbledore.

"Young Master, you're also tired. Rest a bit."

Looking at the refreshments and tea Aldrich brought, Sean nodded, having him place them on the table before sitting down to eat simply.

Sean watched the several people being chased chaotically by the alchemical dogs, clearly seeing the differences.

Among them, Andy, who had already graduated this year, and Jensen, who would be a sixth-year after school started, were most composed. Especially Andy—already an adult wizard, his every move was quite methodical, and he was first to complete training.

Harry and Hermione, also outstanding students in Sean's year, progressed very quickly too. Especially Harry—perhaps benefiting from his Quidditch skills, he was very swift dodging tires with agile movements. Hermione was relatively worse but still better than the bottom two.

Ron and Blaise—these two were absolutely a matched pair. If Ron was somewhat clumsy, Blaise had been idle too long with shaky foundations. Both barely completed training with bruised skin. This was with Sean having removed the alchemical dogs' teeth—otherwise these two might not have two ounces of flesh left on their butts.

The two lay on the life alchemy array receiving treatment while Sean taught Harry and the others in advance.

"Our training targets Voldemort and Death Eaters, so there's one spell you must all master—the Patronus Charm! Dementors being recruited by Voldemort is almost certain, so we must learn the Patronus Charm. Harry has already accomplished this, so the rest of you need to work harder. Before you learn the Patronus Charm, I'll teach Harry some things separately. You need to catch up quickly."

The Patronus Charm wasn't difficult to learn but very hard to master. Even Ron and Blaise learned quickly, but summoning a corporeal Patronus required persistent training.

Sean and Harry went to the side. Sean looked at Harry. "Harry, you should know those Death Eaters' danger. Next I'll attack you without holding back. You must dodge and counterattack as much as possible. Let me see your true strength. Can you do it?"

Incidentally, he could obtain some of Harry's abilities.

Though there might be no magic worth extracting, Harry surely possessed some extremely rare talents very worth extracting. Moreover, Harry's body contained a Voldemort soul fragment. Though this fragment seemed too weak and wasn't a proper Horcrux, through it he should extract some of Voldemort's abilities—not a loss.

Waving his wand, pillars and cover rose from the ground. In Transfiguration, Sean's recent progress was rapid, already touching the threshold of the fourth stage.

"Harry, I'm coming."

"I'm ready, Sean!"

Looking at Harry, Sean suddenly raised his wand. Red light shot straight at Harry, who immediately dove toward nearby cover, avoiding Sean's spell and waving his wand to counterattack.

As the sun set, Sean personally sent all six home.

After sending off the last person, Harry, Sean looked at the notification on his status panel and couldn't help nodding with satisfaction. Though the system only recognized one training session as one duel, Sean was very satisfied with what he extracted this time.
