"We're required to use Apple's in-app purchase system in order to remain available in the App Store. As a result of Apple's policies, all creators are required to switch to Patreon's subscription billing model. You're currently a per-creation billing creator, which means that you have until November 2025 to switch to subscription billing. Apple's requirements begin rolling out at the beginning of November which means that beginning next month, your new fans won't be able to become paid members in the iOS app and they'll have to sign up on other platforms. "
I'm fine with people signing up from other platforms. I believe that Patreon is making a serious mistake in forcing all their creators to switch to per-month billing. Giving in to Apple's unreasonable demands just makes 'em even more arrogant & demanding. I'll keep my per-post billing for as long as I can.

I've despised Apple since the 1980s when they were suing people who wrote software that ran on their hardware. That was Steve Job's doing then, not Wozniak's. While I owned a Mac for a few years (a friend gave it to me when he upgraded) I never even plugged it in so I recycled it...
