That's a nice buffer. and if Jack makes a half-dozen pairs every six months, that should be a good balance between keeping a stable supply in case of material shortages or the gauntlets wearing out faster than expected and and providing regular updates to the hardware.

In it you have Normals, Supers, and the Powereds. In a world where some people are born with super powers 2/3 of them have absolutely no control over them. These are the Powereds. It's about the first 5 Powereds who become Supers through an experimental procedure and are now going to school to become Super Heroes.
