2022-08-23 15:33:54 +0000 UTCIdion: sounds like dear Laura could do with learning a little "Transcribe" spell I developed back in my days at the Arcane University. It came in handy for Copying books out of the library at a rapid pace without having to 'lay a finger on them'.

2022-08-22 23:06:18 +0000 UTCPaper/parchment/etc. were hard to come by back then. If these mages kept a lot of notes I'm sure they experimented with stuff to write on. That "Golems for Dummies" book could have had a preservation spell cast on it which faded away, making the book more fragile than if it hadn't been enchanted.
