I'm terrified of the dentist. I have genetically awful teeth and have add issues my whole life. My mom worked for a dentist when I was growing up. I avoid the dentist unless I absolutely have to go.

2022-12-03 02:06:37 +0000 UTCIn July this year, I went to a dentist with a damaged tooth and the dentist had to extract the tooth. It took over an hour over two visit with 2 dentists and a surgeon to pull out my tooth with pliers. I had to have double the local anaesthetic and it still hurt like hell. They all said it was the hardest tooth they've ever extracted. They had to slice the tooth down the middle but the root was curved on the other half so they broke that half into sections. With the anaesthetic, I couldn't taste the blood in my mouth. There was a lot.
