2021-08-21 15:24:47 +0000 UTCThe age difference between Gene and Nubsib is so noticeable as children, but I think I see how Nubsib adored Gene from an early age. Gene noticed Nubsib when the other boys wanted to do other things. Though, as we saw, Gene was also a kid too, influenced by the older boys and a bit selfish of sharing his things. Now we know the significance of the dragon. There is a sense of carefree, I know what I want, that Nubsib has when it comes to Gene. Though Gene has struggled to acknowledge how he felt about Nubsib, about being attracted to a guy (even as an author of BL romance) ... and it was nice to see him allow himself and Nubsib to finally find each other again.
