As an older person, I am a bit more cynical and figure that career lasts and love might not, also if the loved one isn't supportive of the career and its "now" aspects, then that person doesn't really love you as a whole person, just your body.

Yes, Those things are important & should be prioritized but overall happiness/love is more important for the simple fact that opportunity is always presenting itself to those who really want something. While the person you love might not always be around on top of the fact that tomorrow is not promised. I hate that in these BL's they make one of the main characters so selfless, because it only leads to issues. Well I guess if they didn't do that we wouldn't have a story to follow lol. My personal opinion TEH should've rejected the second play knowing that him & OH haven't spent enough time together. Also knowing that OH has been struggling due to being homesick. I don't think it would've harmed TEH's future. I also think OH shouldn't feel guilty for wanting TEH to spend time with him rather than doing the second play. This season is gonna stress me out.
