Burnout

Hey all. I think I've been afraid to admit it but: I'm completely and totally burnt out. When I think about writing right now, I just get super stressed. I really am not having any success trying to get back on track, and I hate to keep breaking my promises to you guys.

I have really severe writer's block and can't bring myself to continue working on my own writing. I think I need a change of pace and to work on something I'm not so personally invested in.

I'm sorry everyone. This move has had a bunch of unexpected complications come up and I haven't had time to write. I'm starting my new job on Monday, so I don't want to accept payment for August unless I am 100% sure I can deliver. With that in mind I'm going to pause August.

June Update

Hey all.

I’ve made the tough decision of pausing billing for June. I am going to be moving later this summer for a new job. I don’t want to have to worry about writing while moving, so I wanted to have a nice buffer in place in preparation of that. Once I have ~3 months of buffer set up, I’ll open commissions, with the caveat that I won’t guarantee they’ll be finished quickly.

Life Update

Hey everyone

Recovery is coming along nicely. Still sore but I have a lot more mobility. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to write more during my week off.

It’s pretty unlikely I will finish chapter 10 by the end of the month. I’m really sorry.

I also just found out I got a new job! It will be a huge cross country move, so I am going to need some moving money. I will try my hardest to finish Chapter 10 in June and maybe take 1-2 commissions. I’ll keep you posted.

My surgery was this morning and it went well.

I’m sorry I wasn’t able to finish Chapter 10 beforehand. I gotta recover a bit but I might be able to finish it next week. If I can’t, I have a new story written by a very special super secret guest writer instead (if you’re on GKS/GSS, you’ll likely be familiar with him)
