I think some of the mystery we experience in the first couple episodes is along the lines of all the WTF Zhou Shu Yi is feeling with the sudden re-appearance of Gao Shi De during a corporate acquisition. And all the rage that he has toward him for ghosting him. We are still very aware of all the love between them and understandably in disbelief that it could have devolved like this. It does get better! On this viewing I was struck with how friggin handsome the cast is in this chapter. As college guys they had the college guy hotness, now as execs they have a different more refined look. Funny what a well fitting suit will do fo you.
