Yay! Your pledges were not in vain!
Added 2018-09-06 16:03:52 +0000 UTCI was sending Patreon daily messages about my frozen pay-out. Yesterday's contained this:
" This is the second business day where I have received no answer to my desperate query. Guess I'll send one a day, until someone finally deigns to look at this e-mail account.
I found a phone number for Patreon. It connected to a voicemail that said to send you an e-mail. No other options at all. So, for all practical purposes, it is not a phone number.
Are you seriously telling me that the only way to get a Patreon problem solved is to physically travel to San Fransisco and take house on you? There is no phone number. E-mails are not answered. What other choice have you left us?"
...Couple hours after that, my account was restored.
I'm very glad of that, of course - I got some heavy utility bills that need paying - but I can't help feeling slightly insulted. Is a personal visit from me really such a frightening prospect?

Careful, the folks at Patreon do not like being reminded they're incompetent.
