And it's not just the "disarming the peasants" issue that gun-control raises . . . it's the fact that it also makes it easier for criminals who don't give a damn one way or the other. They can just get more guns from whatever black-market connections they know about--which will suddenly get a major plus in business--and now have it even easier to rob, steal, and kill whoever they dang well please with less to no fear of meeting armed resistance. Gun Control isn't going to do anything to reduce the injuries and deaths resulting from firearms . . . if anything it's only going to multiply it!! Better off letting everyone who has the mind and skill to use guns properly to have them and carry them . . . greater % of the time when some jerk pulls a gun for a hold-up . . . odd are fare at best that they'll end up meeting several other guns aimed right at 'em! Key point, "fare at best" . . . and personally I like the idea of the people having the resources needed to toss the table when things finally get to dang rediculous . . . the power that be finally make that one dumb@$$ mistake too many and they finally have to face the music . . . namely a mass mob playing the grand funeral durge with everything from side-arms to every kind of "hunting rifle" one can name! ;-3

If you want to vote with a bullet, you're asking for it to escalate to that. Even the police force is getting hand-me-down military vehicles and weapons.
