Rumbolt at Home, page 11.

Wow. Such faith that guy had in Rumbolt's compassion and forgiveness. Or maybe he was just a complete moron. Hey, could be both!

I'd argue than any sane man would do the same thing. Who's to say he isn't drugged up and incapable of feeling pain? Who's to say he isn't FAKING an injury to lure the home owner into a false sense of security. How can anyone defending their family take a CHANCE on leaving someone who came into their home with a weapon... even if they SEEM to be injured. No, when that man broke in and entered a home with or without a weapon, the only reasonable response is lethal... even against a seemingly surrendering or hurt assailant. Only on the battlefield when you have other soldiers for backup or when you're a policeman with police backup is it logical to take a surrendering prisoner after they've proven they were willing to take life.

Besides, he's dying anyway, Rumbolt just save the Grim Reaper from having to wait! And he's right . . . "That is funny"!

No; you could plainly see he was trying to reach his gun, so the detective had to act quickly in self defense & didn't even have time to pull out his own gun again! His wife & kids all saw it too!

Now they can't question him. And crushing his head underfoot might cross the line from "self-defense" to "first degree murder".

It's amazing how some people who feel free to ignore society's rules and customs expect everyone else to obey them slavishly even to severe harm. It's kind of like how a gun-hater will spew vile epithets at someone carrying a gun -- because it really shows how safe the hater feels in the gun carrier's presence!

"Sorry about the brains on the carpet, hon."

Good job, Rumbolt; keeping the boot in retribution...
