Would it be possible that Mink could insist they do that magic session skyclad in the hope that Max could be so horny that he couldn't concentrate on learning a power he shouldn't have?

There indeed aren't too many power hungry things he could do with magic that he already can't do with money and technology. So if anything his magic experiments would probably involve some more personal improvements perhaps that aren't feasible or are too risky with technology. :3
