Yeah, not everything needs to have stakes but pitches are made like to a decider, they should have like a third party decide whose pitch would “win”

Also, it would be funny if the director of the movie within the movie was an award winning indie filmmaker who is genuinely trying to make a good movie, but the producers and studio won't let him. I genuinely hope someone involved with Gremlins 3 hears this and listens to y'all, 'cause that's a hell of a movie!
