2023-12-04 14:56:12 +0000 UTC'Multiverses' might have been interesting at one point (i.e. strong implications that Kira fucked her evil Mirror Universe self in Deep Space Nine), but now they just can't be trusted anymore because Marvel and DC (and Abramsverse Star Trek too) have all but admitted they are going to use 'multiverses' as a way of just sort of papering over any movies they made/make that no one liked and pretend it was All Part of the Plan. Just their way of avoiding having to take responsibility for their own failures or having to come up with any new ideas.

2023-12-03 20:26:36 +0000 UTCI actually know John Leonetti! People would not be surprised to learn that he considers himself first and foremost to be a surfer, it’s his passion and priority. He puts most of his effort into catching waves and I think if you look at his filmography, you can tell directing isn’t his priority. He doesn’t live in LA and prefers a sleepy beach community. That being said, he’s a really nice guy and is super generous to service workers in the area, a great tipper. I always tell him I’m a big fan but he knows that people enjoy his films for being so bad it’s good. But he’s not on Neal Breen levels of delusion. Not a Black Tank Top guy. Fun fact, he’s dating the heiress to the Marie Calendars fortune.

It's a mediocre flick that does some "FInal Destination" like toned down freak accidents in a been there-done that 80s occult horror kinda way, that's been slightly updated for today's teen audience. For what it is, it's watchable while it's on and just forgettable afterwards. 5/10

I found out about RLM probably around 2018 and I remember them referencing Wish Upon but I was surprised when I went through the back catalogue that there wasn’t a dedicated episode to it. That has now been rectified, Nukie has been watched, it feels like retirement can only be a few short decades away.
